according to the journal we're close to a 1st signing and cuellar is the one, canny signing on a free if it comes off
I agree decent signing if true - BUT - does anyone think we need a younger crop of defenders? - Cuellar 30+, O'Shea 30+, Brown 30+. Don;'t deny they are good players but we need someone a little younger in there as well IMO
True Marcus, but I think MON, is simply getting better in than he is probably going to let go. I think he'll address this in the future, and as long as any new signings aren't in their mid 30's...I just think we'll be a stonger outfit all round, this campaign. KTF
Ideally for me, the Keeper, 2 CBs, and one Defensive Midfielder should be around the 30 mark, therefore have experience and know what to do and can help the rest of the team The full backs should be pacey and have lots of stamina to bomb up the wings to help with the wingers and therefore probably rather young Attatcking midfielder and strikers can be relatively young imo, about 23 onwards (thats in a 4-4-2 formation anyway)
