    I'd like to give a ****, but I can't.

England are ****. We've been **** for ages. No passion.

Rooney - Can't pass water, never mind a ball.
Milner + Young - ****. Might as well of played Ox, at least he can beat a man.
Parker - ****ing useless pile of ****.

Stopped giving a **** about England after the 2002 world cup. No passion about the place, no class. Other countries have far more class about them.

That quite simply is the worst england team I have ever watched play.... I am actually pleased we lost the penalty shoot out because we would have had our arses handed to us on a plate by Germany and they knew it........

A reality check is needed here for how good our so called england supertwats are.... YOUR ACTUALLY **** AND NOW YOU KNOW IT....

**** IT.... toon army to the death...

When Newcastle played with no pride, when we slipped into the Championship without a fight, we all stood by them.

England is the second team of everyone who has grown up in this country. The national pool is relatively weak right now but I'd say player conduct has improved. We've passed the underachieving superstars age, we're entering what promises to be the overachieving underdogs stage. Sound familiar?

I'm English, I support England. You're perfectly welcome to be apathetic, its a free country but giving up on a side, club or country, due to lack of quality? Doesn't sit well with me (no offense).

If England were a good team that played well and won matches you would all support them to the death.

They play bad = you dont care. They play good = 'I LOVE ENGLAND'

I thought before the competition we had a poor team and it showed very much so tonight. AshleyYoung was absolutely dire yet is kept on. Ox should have been on for last 20 mins to run at them
Rooney looked totally f..ked and sorry not impressed with Welbeck.
We ot what we deserved... NOWT.
    Can't wait for the Toon.

Nope, I hate them because there's no passion in the team. If they played with heart, but lost, I'd still support them. They go down with a wimper, and they show no heart. Just a team full of prats.

Still support them (let's face it, we support NE clubs so we're used to this), but I am no longer as bothered when we go out and part of me tends to agree with the original post.

Would always want us to win but not as bothered as I used to be as a kid when we get beat.

    Club before Country these days.

Did you even watch the game, or in fact any of the tournament? For the first time in a long time most of the team sung the national anthem, and played pretty ****ing well. It's not a crime to be less technically gifted than players from another nation. What it came down to was a simple gulf in class between the two countries.

I honestly think they played bloody well today against a far superior opposition. They kept trying (not very well, admittedly) when it was obvious they were outclassed. People are always saying we should have lower expectations, and this was the first tournament where this has been the case, and I'd wager many enjoyed it much more for this reason.

The only part of England that isn't "club over country", I would imagine, is the catchment areas 3 miles around Wembley, and Liverpool because that's essentially who represented us this year.

England should be a touring side, no doubt about it, but Wembley cost too much. The alternative, in that instance, would be putting Wembley slap bang in the middle of the country, but that doesn't sit well with the London based FA or the Royal family who have to have some say even though they all prefer Rugby and Polo(and bumming commoners who are so common they commonly have a fortune and private estate).

Whether they did that or not, I will never ever sing a National anthem which is about placing one moldy old bint above people who really matter to me in life, and that's half the problem for me when it comes to "uniting" behind team England. Good job I'm not a footballer, or I'd be executed for treason because I'd be singing something completely different to everyone else.

If there is a god, and there must be because he likes screwing my bets for a laugh, **** the Queen (don't make a messiah with her though, they'd love that). Save my friends and family and whoever else leads a decent life before she's even considered for the life-raft.
