Firstly, grammar is something entirely different than understanding of content. So 'doh' yourself, I suppose.

I was going to take issue with several other things you just said... But, I'll leave it at that, it sums it up really. Nice attempt at being insulting and cutting though.

    Also, quoting yourself? Lonely?

    Anyway.

Pretty fair. Certainly it should be equal. Interesting that you say 'Black Person' and 'Non-Black Person'. I don't have a problem with it, but imagine if we described black people as 'Non-Whites'. There'd be an out-cry! Another example of the flexibility of public correctness I suppose.

Personally I think white, black, purple, whatever you are, you should have equal protection of the law from the state to which you belong. The tendency to fawn to those of 'coloured' (can I say that?) ethnicity is born out of historical context, which is understandable but ultimately counter productive and the burning desire among 'white' people to appear as modern and understanding as possible - perhaps in fear of being called a racist!

Anyone, it should be one rule for everyone.

Did you read anything apart from the first sentence?

You are, voluntarily or not, inviting responses from Liverpool fans.

'Our boards'? This is a public forum. The 'Arsenal' board is for discussion about Arsenal - it is not inherently a discussion board for Arsenal fans only. It is frequented, obviously, by a majority of Arsenal fans, but that doesn't make it 'yours'.

Of course Liverpool fans are allowed on our boards. However, the communities for each club reside on the board for each club. I posted this because you're more likely to find unbiased views as Liverpool and Manchester United are both disliked by Arsenal fans. However, Liverpool and Man U fans are clearly biased in their views. For your fans to come onto the Arsenal board and say how sick you are of the subject is just ludicrous. Not only that but you've managed to make it descend into a slanging match when before it had been a fantastic discussion.

    - It takes more than one person to destroy a thread, and if you look I've not only contributed to the discussion in three posts, but also offered a reconciliatory comment to the poster I was arguing with.
    - 'Liverpool and Man U fans are clearly biased in their views' - are we really?
    - As I said, this is a board about Arsenal, not a board for Arsenal fans.
    - I can understand the rivalry being bitter with United, but I myself don't feel there's a huge Liverpool/Arsenal rivalry or mutual dislike. I quite like your lot, anyway.
    - If, as you say, Arsenal fans dislike both clubs mentioned in this affair, that doesn't remove any potential bias (and I say potential, because it's plainly wrong to say all fans are biased), it simply replaces it with a different sort of potential bias.

If you'd like to respond to anything I've said to do with the matter or ask my opinion of it I'll happily oblige <ok> I hate this 'us and them' mentality on football forums.

Clown, at BEST that makes Suarez 1 quarter black and that in itself doesn't prove a damned thing and it certainly does not make Suarez sympathetic to black people.

Evade what point ? Make the damned point and stop posturing. The argument has NOTHING to do with how a referee interprets the N word, it is about how black people interpret it. I couldn't give a toss what a referee thinks .. I am black.

You aren't intelligent enough to make me look silly so I suggest you stop trying, stick to ridiculing the dunces on the Liverpool board <ok>

Clearly you don't know what grammar is. You 'claimed' the chap's sentence was "incoherent".

GRAMMAR - the study of the way the sentences of a language are constructed. (taken from dictionary.com)

Now .. put 2 and 2 together .. hopefully you will get 4 .. but I am not sure, after all .. you are a Liverpool fan <laugh>

This thread isn't about you no matter what your race colour or creed is,its about Suarez and racism in football so stay on topic lad.<doh>

The argument has EVERYTHING to do with how the referee interprets the 'N' word when used during a football match, the word itself cannot be used by anyone no matter the colour of their skin, because its the word itself that's offensive in the eyes of the FA.

Cant say iv'e seen any LFC supporters on this thread justifying the use of the word or siding with those who use it so get off your high horse mate.

Well I've watched top flight English football for 50 years - and I have witnessed lots of racist comments from the crowd and players against various nationalities. I can't think of a single incident where a black player has clearly made comments to a white player. Possibly they might have said things like 'tosser' or 'skinned yuh' but thats a bit different !!!! .<laugh>

Tbf it hasn't been about that since page 1, the topic went FAAAARRRRRR beyond that we started discussing racism in a larger and far more serious context. It is only the Liverpool fans who brought it back to Suarez.

Correction,i brought Evra's hypocrisy into play, but it seems there's an undercurrent of twisting the words of LFC posters on the thread to make like we agree with racism,i'd say we believe in fairness and are totally against racism.

Vela, I can't be bothered to keep pointing out the obvious to these people. We have been talking about the N word and black people for pages now, it would help if they understood what the hell they were trying to comment about. You are a more patient person than me.

I believe it happened in south africa, but it was more of a hypothetical situation. Black people can call white people stuff and get away scott free.

Gtf you arrogant clown, this is a forum, there have been no racist comments thrown about, their has been agreement as to how unacceptable racism is.

Yet you seem to have a deep seated hatred of people of a different colour than yourself giving an honest opinion on this emotive subject.

Yeah we do. We call them racist, clearly they take offence.

Me : Liverpool fans brought it back to Suarez
Page_Moss_Kopite : No I only mentioned Evra (which has nothing to do with Suarez's case at all)

.....................With you Hothead I give up.

Wow those pics prove every Liverpool supporter on this thread are racists.<laugh>

Your attitude towards the subject is as bad as those you profess to oppose.

South Africa...up until 1994 just 18 yrs ago Black people weren't allowed a vote...the country was ruled by aparthied etc. so using that country as an example is a bit misleading to be honest.

The Black people HAVE been convicted of racially abusing white people.

I always get the creeps when comments like ' Black people do call white people stuff and get away with it'...I've been called 'stuff' like ****er etc. and don't react the same as when I have been called a paki ... I don't think every time some white is rude to me it is cos they are racist therefore maybe the 'stuff' black people say you refer to may NOT be racist.

Racism is not a simple issue but it is wrong.

I don't consider you a racist...I think we have different views (I'm right obviously <laugh>) nor do I think that those who think that we should limit immigration are racist...I think those who use racist terms to people of other races, those who believe they are better than other races, those who attack other races, or belittle them etc. are racists and should **** off back into the sewer they crawled out of...and that includes those who do it on the pitch
