Completely off the topic thread, however here goes: What is the best BALANCED team that you can create with the restriction that you may only chose one person per nationality and one player per club side. It is actually quite difficult, or so I have found. Who can come up with the best XI?
Neuer Debuchy Thiago Silva Vermaelen Cole Y Toure Marchisio Kagawa Ronaldo Messi Cavani I swapped Van Der Vaart for Cavani, still think I'm ok regarding for rules.
GK: Cech RB: Lahm CB: Javi Martinez CB: Vidic LB: Chiellini CM: Modric DM: Yaya Toure CM: Sneijder RW: Ronaldo CF: Zlatan LW: Messi Just did that very quickly... don't think there are any doubles? Really struggled for CB so just gave up and stuck Martinez in. Obviously I'd have Pique but Messi can't be left out
Lloris Walker Kompany Hummels Alba (hasn't joined Barca yet ) Tiote Strootman Ronaldo Messi Neymar Cavani
GK:Neuer(German, Bayern) RB:Richards(English, City) CB:Vidic(Serbian, United) CB:Chiellini(Italian, Juve) LB:Alba(Spainish, Valencia) CM:Sneijder(Dutch, Inter) CM:Belhada(Moroccan, Montpellier) CM:Hazard(Belgian, Chelsea) RW:Messi(Argentinian, Barca) ST:Neymar(Brazilian, Santos) LW:Ronaldo(Portuguese, Madrid) This took ages, great thread!!!!!
--------------Buffon---------------- Lahm---Lescott---Martinez---Bale --------------Cabaye---------------- ---------Snijder---Kagawa---------- Ronaldo-------Messi--------Hazard This "one club, one country" thing aint half hard.
Glad it was not just me that found it difficult. At least by making these stipulations people come up with interesting but different teams; Falcao anyone? Ps Matt I think you may not meet both of the rules with your side
