    Amusing, if a bit dated.

    Meanwhile, I don't understand why Germany are playing tonight whilst France and Spain are playing tomorrow. That means when it comes to the Semi Finals one team in each will have 2 more days rest that the other which is significant. If the games had been reversed it would only have been one extra day which is less significant.

    Am i right on this? It just seems so obvious but I've not heard anyone else mention it.

    No, I noticed this, and have been asking the same thing (though not on this board). Reward for finishing top of the group of death (highest total seeded value?). Luck of the draw?

    The bailout jokes are so obvious that I'm not even going to go there. So I'll just say that Germany will beat Greece 5-0.

    Portugal did their best to try and lose yesterday even though they totally dominated...can't see Germany doing that. Suspect 2-3 German goals in first half.

    As an England fan, I want Greece to win, for obvious reasons. As a football fan, I want Germany to win because I love watching them play and Germany against England/Italy would be an excellent semi final.
