I'm not a fan of his usually but credit were it's due. He played well, certainly our man of the match. A lot of mixed reviews on him today already. I personally thought he was head and should above any of our outfield players today. He was the only player who could string passes together, made a few good tackles in the centre of midfield and actually looked like he wanted to play. Thoughts
Disagree, he was just less terrible than other players - lost possession too many times and played too many pointless long balls to no-one to be labled as having 'a good game'!
Agree. Voted 7. Had a good first half, showing good technical ability, movement and composure, faded away in the second half as he began to tire and show fatigue/lack of stamina. Overall I thought he was one of the shining lights in a average general display(including Barton).
Thought he was terrible, not good enough am afraid Championship is his level where he did well last season.
Was ok, not MOTM. Would say Jose, Jonas and Harper were all better. I'd give him a 6/10 for his performance.
Had some good spells where he got stuck in and played some good passes. Had some bad spells where he just went round hacking people like an anaemic Alan Smith.
Thought he had a half decent game today TBH though the main reason i like him is because i used to play for the same Youth team as him (although not at the same time)
