They need a sense of humour then!! Shows like "allo allo" and "faulty towers" are gloriously funny whilst poking fun at everyone, including the English!!
It would be in poor taste if I stood on a street corner and yelled to all and sundry that all Germans are Nazis or all Italians are cowards etc etc. I don't think anything of the sort.......but I can still laugh at posts like Northy's Italian tank etc!! It was a response to a post by someone who didn't even make the effort to understand what he had cut and pasted in an attempt to get a cheap laugh. I'll stick to light hearted banter from now on. Who's posting the photo of a mushroom cloud when we play Japan at anything? Swords isn't PC at all in my view - he just has an acute insight into the English and a curiosity into why we are so paranoid about foreigners. I feel myself slipping into the DT camp.........
