    You could make anyone sound like a good signing, or put together 3 minutes of youtube best bits to make someone look world class, so I generally doubt papers or internet clips as evidence. In addition, the nature of our transfer policies means journalists can do this all day, because we go for people we've never heard of they can just frequent a dusty FM game, find a 18 year old nobody has heard about and boom, "gossip"... Fecking morons should be done for libel. Faking sources in any other medium is a serious offence.

    Normally I think its a bad idea taking cast offs (youngsters or not) from the top clubs. They keep the ones they want. But Real are slightly different. They have a habit of letting very good players go because they are all about the galacticos etc. Another lad is now in the Spanish squad and has been pulling up trees for a while. Soldado. This kid has been pretty well thought of in the past, I remember him being mentioned by Balague on SKY sports La Liga show when he was 16. A lot was expected.

    Not really a kid at 26.

    Dogleash was put off him by the asking price so I don't think we'll be showing too much interest.

    Seems like Morata would be a cracking signing as a back up player at the right price but unlikely to be available at that right price.
