Financially strong investors in the middle of a recession!Proven business acumen.Global perspective.Visionary with the desire and ability to deliver.Putting their money into a Championship side that has not delivered in real terms for almost a century! Is this a fantasy?NO.Pinch me I'm dreaming! We need to put our cynicism to one side, dare to dream and enjoy the ride.
Nobody in their heart of hearts wants to change the shirt.Everybody who truly cares for our great club wants the best.Let us give our support to this vision for the future. If the red shirts don't do the trick I'm sure we can trust the men who have put their money on the line to accept the desire of the fans.
Let's wake up and smell the coffee!Get behind these guys.If it fails it wont be through lack of trying!Ever onwards, ever upwards but always a Bluebird.

i think you've got to trust tans knowledge of the asian market that has made him over a billion on this one blue. and its not as if the money will be spunked away on players who will pass through the club, its going to lay down the foundations for a bigger, stronger cardiff,.......<ok>

I really don't really give a rats arse what others call me but I am behind the Malaysians. They are putting the money up so let's back them. Progressive and forward thinking business men prepared to cover our debts and invest in our future.

Yes Brilliant times they will be - let's hope that all transpires as forecast. a little faith that's all that is needed. What is faith? - belief in something that cannot be proven.

There are two factions supporting Cardiff at the moment
1) Those with faith
2) Those with no faith and a fear of loss

Let's not disown or put down any of those who fall into group 2. These people have the same passion for Cardiff as we do. The difference is that they have trouble in putting their faith in VT and his plans. I can understand this, we have had so many false dawns. Throw into the mix the re-branding and we then turn 'The Reluctant' into 'The Disconcerted'.

Likewise those who are in Group 2 should not relegate those in group 1 to the grade of 'plastic fans'. We just think differently to you and, in a perfect world, would like the investment and our blue colours and badge. Not one of us has ever woken up and thought, "you know what? We need to change to red shirts" - we just have faith in a very successful man's vision and plans. History is history and can never be taken away or changed. However we don't live in the past and we need a visionary to take us forward. Will VT deliver? Well that cannot be proven either! The only way to accept it is by having a little faith in the guy.

True, but the market isn't open yet. Only the players with no contract are available at the moment. I'm sure Malky has a list of players he is after.

Sorry to post this on multiple threads but it is something I feel quite strongly about - so apologies for the repetition!

I know I am just a Swansea caravan dweller, but I fail to see what all the fuss is about; red, blue or pink - it's only a kit! What matters is the continuing existence of your beloved team and if changing the colour that you play in secures the investment that gives you a very bright future then it's an absolute no-brainer!!

Tradition and history are not written in stone; they are fluid, they evolve and change like everything else in this world! Nothing stands still - just about every team has tweaked its identity at some point in their history - you just happen to be doing it now to secure massive investment that will ensure your survival and possibly take you to the next level - in a few years it will probably be viewed as a 'storm in a teacup' as the next chapter in the history and tradition of Cardiff City is written!

And you will always have your tradition and history – you can continue to look back with that nostalgic and warm feeling – it aint gonna go away – but history will continue to be written and years down the line you will look back at this time with a similarly warm and nostalgic feeling – but hopefully you will be doing it from a position of strength; from the position of a sustainable top flight club that just happens to wear a red kit!

You will never forget your history or tradition but times change, and those who don’t move with the times stay where they are and eventually fade away! Funny as it may sound I have many friends who are CCFC supporters and most of them are right behind the changes – what sane supporter wouldn’t be; as a lifelong Jack I have gone through the whole gamut of emotions during my years supporting the club, and in the darkest hours I wouldn’t have cared less if the team had turned up naked as long as there was a team to support!

So to those Bluebirds who are stuck in the past I would say ‘get over yourselves’ and get behind your team; what difference does it make what colour you play in? It’s still Cardiff City; you still have a team to turn up and support, you still have a team that will create its own history and, more importantly, you now have a future that is not built on sand! Your Malaysian investors have provided you with a solid foundation that will give you the opportunity to build and prosper – so get behind them, every Bluebird one of you – they are the future of your club and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that!
