Our first 6 games

Is anyone else quite happy about our first 6 games?

I personally hoped for a mix of harder teams and lesser teams and that's what we got.

Spurs at home is really a big test, and it will show what we're made of. A win over a big team like this first game could be a fantastic start, and after our 2nd game which is Chelsea, we have 4 very winnable games.

We could do with a good start, as we have Manure and the Scum the two games after that.

I doubt we'll have as good of a start as we did last season, but you know... we haven't played anyone yet! We were really **** last season but we didn't play anyone so... yeah!

Anyways, what do you think of our start to next season?

I'm really also glad that we get Everton away out the way early. I know they have a good striker now and everyone reckons they'll have a better start to next season, but I think it's reasonable to assume that they could very possibly have a similar season to their previous seasons, and start slowly.

I didn't want too many promoted teams early on, and we got one in our early games. Reading away. Should be interesting.

IMO we've got a good opening 6 games.

mark.k: The fixture list looks good for United, especially the run-in from the end of January onwards. The Reds will have the chance to play Chelsea and City at home during the last few weeks.

martinmj: I can't wait for 15 December and Sunderland at OT, after they cheered when City won the title. I can't wait till we put seven or eight in their net...

Could happen... look what we did to Villa when their fans made banners when they relegated us at their place... we won the championship played them first game after promotion and destroyed them 6-0. Hopefully you can do the same.

 

No not at all as there is a more than strong possibilty we will lose the frrst 4 and be bottom of the league.! if that happens the confidence will go and we struggle all season and then ou best players will leave in January.( if we keep them this summer that is)

We could also win the 4 games, be top of the league, have a better squad than last year and go on to have an even better season.
