Green is the next through the door. Whats your thoughts on him as a player? I will hold my hand up and admit I dont know to much about the lad, but he certainly divides opinion. http://instagr.am/p/MGYZ8qnUrf/
Derby wanted him to stay, he doesn't set the taste buds going of excitement but he is free, he was wanted by other clubs including Grayson at Huddersfield, is he better than Mikka or Nunez - I would have hoped so. Again like we mentioned earlier, an out of contract player who was actually wanted by other clubs and not a last minute desperation signing. This time last year there would have been a hold-up due to wages or Ipswich would have snatched him.
My thoughts too. And as with yesterday, my default thought is 'what's the implication for Clayton' [the impliclayton]? Green will be good hard-working foil for a playmaker next to him, and that playmaker can be Clayton if we don't **** it up. Obviously a proper midfield general is needed as well, to stick a boot up both those more average players' arses. Shame that BROWNY's looking a bit past it. But yeah, unremarkable signing who'll hopefully do the job. Not much more to say really, is there?
Good signing, looks as though he's the type of player we need in the middle of the park to get stuck in, could do with someone creative now, is that still a job for Clayton?? Seems to be highly rated by some:- http://www.leeds.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=285197&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
Hmm, I don't know too much about him but I he does seem a little average. I also saw his open-goal miss on the last day of the season I definitely think he'll be better than Mikka
I'm sorry I changed my name now Maybe we should change the lyrics to an old song given the names of some of our players now "Brown, Green and White. A football in a Yorkshire rose. The words Leeds United AFC. We'll follow wherever you go"
He looks a decent signing for us, always busy, works hard...typical Warnock player. This Leeds under Colin will graft and graft, and that's a positive already. The quality is an improvement as well, all three signings are at least a step in the right direction, just surprised no strikers yet, we know how Colin loves his strikers!
