    Sun 24 Jun 2012 - European Championship.

England v Italy 19:45 live on BBC 1, where are you going to watch it? At home with your feet up and the good lady serving you your ale, or in the pub with your mates shouting at the box like a lunatic?

Got the makings of a great game and the passion of the fans is going to be sky high. Should make great viewing.

In the kitchen on our second tv with the fridge at close quarters full of beer whilst m'lady watches some crap she's recorded previously in the front room.

Its marginally better than watching it on our main tv and having to field questions about football from m'lady.

Should have her trained better. It's thirsty work watching footy on the box and you need a constant intake of liquid.

No idea yet...Still in Belfast so I reckon there'll be a fair few 'new' Italian fans knocking about...Probably head over to the Student's Union, where its only £2 a pint and the most likely place for other Englishmen to congregate!

Watched the last England game on the couch and I just couldn't get into anywhere near as much as a Toon match - kind of need the alcohol and fans around you to give the illusion of match days!

chiellini is out for this one, if we can keep the ball and build attacks I think we're through to the Semi's.

I can see it being a pretty dire game of football to watch, with both sides focussing on safety and solidness as opposed to flair or attack!

I second that... Poor band, poor venue.

I think the England v Italy game will be approached too cautiously by both teams but I can see England venturing forward a little more than Italy.

Bar for this one. I've taken to stop watching matches in the bar to be honest. Some of the idiots opinions you have to listen to are no longer amusing, just annoying! With age comes less patience I think!!

I think this will be a great watch, but then I don't mind and appreciate tight tactical affairs. I'm fascinated by it but understand most just want to see skills, goals and attacking flair. I just think good defending is every bit as much an art form as good attacking play. We'll need to shut down Pirlo who has been one of the players of the tournament so far. Chiellini out is a big bonus but to be honest they have plenty of experienced quality centre backs. They'll also need to take care of one of the players of the tournament so far aswell in Gerrard so it shapes up nicely.

PS I've seen RHCP twice live George. They were turd both times! His singing live was a travesty to be honest. And I like some of their music <yikes>
