That's a bit harsh. He's had one poor season but 2010/11 he scored 15 league goals, not many midfielders in this league could offer you that.
So we're not allowed to even enquire about your players, yet by the looks, you want one of ours. This is a joke right? We'll sell you King when your Chairman stops being so petty As for his talent, stick him up as an attacking midfielder and he might get you some goals with his movement off the front 2, play him as an all round/box-2-box midfielder and you wont even know hes there.
rejecting low offers for our best players isn't petty. He's never said he won't do business with Leicester since it was just days after Pearson left when he felt very angry about being let down by his manager, you can't blame him for that as it was his first experience of this in football, it wouldn't have been as bad had Pearson gone to any other club but the fact it was the club Nigel left to come here made Assem look a bit of a mug. It's in the past now and with Bruce in the picture i'm sure the Allams would do business with Leicester now if the price is right, but considering your offers so far have been pitiful and way below the value Pearson himself put on them whilst he was here, you could easily make the argument that Pearson is trouble causing trying to unsettle the players by expressing interest and hoping they'd force a move, that might be a common football tactic but it's still a petty one.
Weather you owner is happy or not we will be bidding for Hull players. There is nothing wrong with that, your not happy with the offer then reject the bid. We could go on for ever that you wont sell to us or anyone but that doesnt change the fact we like everyone else have a right to bid for your players Now with Bamba gone and Mills nearly signed for Bolton, Pelts isnt too far behind and Konchesky is off by the sounds of things. There will probably be some offers coming in for some of your players in the next week or so
He was injured most of last season. The season before he got 16 and the 2 previous season he got 11 in both of them
Great, have fun. The point people were making is that Leicester fans can't justifiably accuse the Allams of being 'pathetic', 'petty' or anything of the like. All we've done is said no, there is also nothing wrong with that.
Tbh its probably just twitter nonsense. It's a rumour based on the fact Reading want Koren and so someone has decided to pick a similar player and say we're after him. Like you say if we went after a Leicester player after turning down all your derisory bids for our players I'm sure you'd do the same to one of our offers. I doubt Pearson would want to sell someone who in your words 'he rates' to us of all people. There's no point arguing about it because it's probably not true.
No there is nothing wrong with rejecting our bids, its not petty or anything But what is pathetic is crying in the media about the bids and say we wont sell to Leicester because they took our manager. If i was a Hull fan i would be embarrassed with that stance. You sell to anyone who makes you a good offer which you deem acceptable. Its not like were rivals are anything
That's only happened in your head, find me a recent quote from our owner that says anything about Leicester or any of their bids. PS - There aren't any.
Crying to the media? embarrassed? You mean where we told the media of the pathetic bid made by you to sign one of our best players and that we wouldn't accept such a derisory price. Yeah i'm well upset with the management for that If anyone should be embarrased it's Pearson for bidding an amount much lower than he'd valued that particular player only weeks before. kind of sums up your bids for our players so far...
Adam Pearson said live on the radio when we bid for Cameron Stewart in Jan that bid wouldnt even buy his toe and he isnt going to sell to us and said they will treat our bids for distain
not to mention that OLM said recent, ok January wasn't that long ago but it was after the very first bid, so in terms of the timeline of this whole thing it was right at the beginning! Also he said that the bid for Stewart was treat with disdain, not that all bids from Leicester would be treat with disdain. Considering Leicester's bid for Stewart was pathetic, it was rightly treat as it was.
