Aaaaaaaayyyyyyyeeeeeeee don't beeeleeeeve it. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...s-Dave-King-apologises.html?ito=feeds-newsxml
Hmmm ... a large pinch of salt to be had with this, methinks. Coincidentally, after all and sundry have condemned the lack of contrition and now when it's future is to be determined by the SPL and other clubs, the light is suddenly and reluctantly, beginning to be seen. Religion - the last refuge of scoundrels?
A half-arsed apology if ever there was one. "No one on the board, when I was there, would have had any intention of gaining an advantage. But the fact is that I can understand the perception out there now." So what was the purpose of EBTs if not to gain a financial advantage?
Of all the arseholes involved in that rancid **** tip of a club, David King is the amongst the biggest. Like most, I wanted to see some contrition but this forked tongued asset hiding arsehole isnt remorseful of his own misdeeds let alone those of Rangers.
Very dignified from Mr King, but then, you wouldn't expect anything less from a true Rangers man. That's why, we ARE the people. God Bless the Pope
Craig Whyte passed the test, so they must've been playing opposites day that day, I mean, they weren't playing opposites day, **** it, I mean don't **** it... ****.
However forced by circumstance this is, it's still someone from the inside apologising to Scottish football and admitting what they did amounted to cheating. I welcome it. I'll expect more of the same from Sir Smith since he's the very paragon of dignity Nearly kept a straight face...
Incorrect my dear Edge. If you care to peruse the SFA report you will see it was Rangers FC who signed a declaration to the effect that Whyte was a fit and proper person, in essence they lied to the SFA, that's one of the reasons they were punished.
