I guess with the big testimonial and new manager, it was time for him and us to part company. No time for nostalgia now boys, we have another season in the Prem to worry about.

It is a shame to see Adam Drury go because I think that he has played very well for Norwich and has helped the club through the tough times to the good. He has been a good leader to the team and good luck to him at Leeds, and good luck to Leeds next season and hope that you make it into the play-offs. I certainly wasn't expecting him to leave and wonder who will come in next.

Since Drury's signing when his contract runs out that would be a pretty stupid move on our part.

Leeds have got themselves a guy that can still compete even though he's in his twilight years

The guy is a 24karat Norwich legend and he's welcome back any time he likes

Very best of luck to him.

Sky text is quoting Warnock as saying that Drury wasn't offered a new contract. Mind you he is also quoted as saying he is fast !

Tremendous servant to the club. Sorry to see him go but pleased that he got a proper send-off at his tetsimonial and that he has gone to a big club. Would have been a shame to see him end up as a journeyman pro for Grimsby playing in front of 800 people and six tonnes of cod.

Leeds have got a very good man, a leader on the pitch and a cracking left-back at Championship level. I suppose we do owe them one for Johnson/Howson though!

well colin is wrong, i'm sure i read somewhere official that we had offered him a contract - that's right it was when the list of retained PL players came out, so we knew fox and ward had been offered new deals.

Colin is also making Norwich out to be the bad guys saying that when you get released you want to prove a few people wrong. I really doubt that is the case with Norwich.

A true city legend. Always gave everything for the club both on and off the pitch and loved by both fans and players. End of an era. I'm sure if the 25 man squad rule was not in place we would have kept him, hopefully he will return as a coach in the future.

Grateful for his loyalty to the club and fans over all the years, a rare thing in the game these days, deserves his chance at a new club when so many leave after only 12 months could this be the start of the Hughton Revolution? Who would fans like to see come in for Adam, which other players would you like to see come and go? (sensible suggestions only please - I'd like Messi in the team but we're never going to get him!)

End of an era. It was good to see him getting a proper send off v Celtic. There are some players that you happily wave off, others that are a bit of a wrench and some that will be remembered for a long time for all they have done for the club. Hope he does well for Leeds.

To expand on wonkys point, Warnock pissses me off. He was quoted as saying something along the lines of he has the chance to prove them wrong, meaning us. I know he is desperately trying to make this sound like a big signing but he makes it out like he has a point to prove...to us!? He has nothing to prove, he's done that for 11 years. What a prick.

I know we all got the chance to thank him at the Celtic match, but I'm sure most of us thought he would still be here next season in some capacity! With that in mind, it would be nice to draw Leeds in one of the cups, to give us a chance to give him a proper good-bye!

Drury is and always will be an Ncfc legend and has been a great servant to the club over the past 11 years. Good luck Adam. You are a reliable and dependable defender.

Yes, I've always been a big fan of Drury and I'm sure he will be warmly welcomed by the Leeds fans. He has nothing to prove - there aren't many players who play at the same club for most of their career.

Not sure who we've been linked with other than Curtis Davies, though we'll definitely need cover for Tierney.
