    Waste of a pound, you stand more chance of winning the lottery than the scousers winning the league. It would be nice to see the top slots being shaken up though, at least us losing to Man City meant there was a refreshing change to the old order.

    The recent history of our last day fixtures certainly supports the premise that something big will happen at our last game!
    11/12 lost away to Man City who are PL Champions
    10/11 lost at home to Leeds (a massive club but won nothing) but we become Championship Champions
    09/10 lost at home to Newcastle who were Championship Champions
    08/09 lost away to Preston - ok this is the one that breaks the streak; both clubs painfully mid table
    07/08 lost at home to WBA who were Championship Champions
