Israel flags at the CL final

    Hello CFC fans. congrats on the CL trophy

    Just curious as to why there were some of your fans flying the Israel flag at the final?

    I know Roman has a lot to do with Israeli football and Avram was a result of this

    But I thought it was a spurs thing?

    I never saw any! The Israeli flag I know is royal blue and white--and it might just have been an illusion!

    I saw one or maybe two, but they were not in the Chelsea fans area - so presumably just Israelis attending the Final. Who else would have an Israeli flag apart from an Israeli? There were lots of different flags on that day. Just out of curiosity - what has Abramovich got to do with Israeli football?

    Roman is Jewish, and he has been to Israel a few times. As with Russian football he lends a hand here and there in Israel.

    The thing with Jewish people and Spurs is a misconstrued myth, and only because they are situated near to closely knit Jewish communities like Golders Green, Finchley and Muswell Hill etc.

    Chelsea, Arsenal and Even West Ham have a far higher % of Jewish fans than Spurs from my experience.

    Honestly though, Roman has visited Israel a 'few times' so it means he has something to do with Israeli football? You got any links about things he has done in Israeli football? Genuinely curious. But just because he's Jewish does not mean he has anything to do with Israel (although I did read somewhere about him visiting Israel once).

    We've gone slightly off topic I guess - there were a couple Israeli football fans at the final (GREATEST MOMENT EVER BTW) waving their flags, nothing more - there were plenty of other flags about. It's great that the whole world got to see us put our name down in history. ;)
