Bendtner's got that rare combination of arrogance and hopelessness. It's a telling symptom of Arsenal's decline in recent years that someone like him has managed to stick around there on such a monumental wage for so long.

    Not in Danny Graham's class.

what class..<ok>supposing this was true which i think is rubbish for a manager who has not been to wales let alone swansea yet. but say this was true then his first signing would be a striker and that must mean we need one as ours are not good enough...<ok> ok He will bring a striker in and after watching our videos he will see we are lacking finishing power up front ...and that is something we have to have this season. danny is nowhere near the finisher we need, infact he is a poor finisher with the amount of chances he gets....maybe he will learn from the master how to take your chances and make them count and i hope he does...but he will be replaced as the main striker this season if laudrup wants to keep us up....<ok>

To paraphrase one of the commentators from the Denmark V Portugal game..he is one of those rare players who cant reproduce his international form for his club whereas the problem is usually the other way around. Cant see us going in for him at all!

It's strange. I had thought about the old 606 bods from time to time during the season past, and one of the themes that kept coming up was "I bet Daiswan hates Danny Graham. He's bound to be one of the stupid ones".

    Lo and behold...

I agree. Graham has got to improve his strike rate. Hopefully he will as he has got a years PL experience under his belt and an injury free summer...

TBH, he IS a good player. But he gets too involved in diving etc rather than just playing the basic game. When he realises this his career will be over and he will look back and think "What a twa* I was"

QPR should never have signed him from Cardiff based on what he did for Cardiff. I keep on going back to his semi-final away performance against Reading two years ago. If ever a scout saw that match he would never appear in a top flight fixture again.

Yeah he was good in the champs i do think the prem is too much for him, he has been putting in a bit more near the end of last season, but i'm not sure he will be in our 25 come the end of Aug, obviously depends if we bring a couple of strikers in i think.

I think with your millions (allegedly) he will be a gonner. Having survived this season I predict QPR to blossom this season and finish above Swans and Norwich (provided the cash is real).

Boothroyd will have to have a seruosly good coach to survive. Is Sparky that man (?) or will he just flog him and sign someone else. If I was a betting man I would say he will flog him.

I know what you're saying about the cash mate and do you know it's nice to hear an opposing fan actually say this, cause we get a lot of aggro about how we have spent this and that when i realy don't think we have even in wages. Granted i think they are paying good/high wages but i would be amazed if we were paying £80,000 a week, just don't think we are.
I believe and i will admit i have taken a leaf out of Swansea and Norwich's book that we just need to survive and i would be more than happy with that, not expecting this mid table finish. You and the canaries really did prove everyone wrong and we were guilty of believing that we were better than we are.
AS you did last year we have to stick together and work and battle and hopefully play bit of football as well and stay up.

Need to play football? You played more direct football and stuffed us 3-0. Enough said. You needed to do that more often earlier in the season.

One thing is for certain after seeing the new fixture list......We cannot afford to fire blanks like we did last season and must try and get as many points as possible in the first half of the season because if we dont then it will be very hard to stay up looking at the run in to the end of the season.....we must play at least 50% better at finishing and going forward.... We need 3-4 players in the next few weeks to improve on what we got as possession without goals wont win games and that will put us in deep trouble by xmas......I'm sure that laudrup will see our shortfall at finishing while viewing the videos and will put that on top of his list of solving....

Top post and spot on, Graham's work rate would put him to shame, anyway jokes aside, think his wages would be a big stumbling block, so on that basis it's a none starter, but in fairness to Bendtner, he's had a good Euro campaign, and scored some good goals!....................... <cheers>

the way DG plays he is like a am not a target man, would rather have him as a am than a striker cos he is always back defending
