That'd be brilliant. Id love winning the world cup, what a great way to start the season.

I don't really care who we get or when but the fixtures I always look out for are the first and last as well as the Christmas/New year period.

Don't care who we get as long as we at home.

Purely selfish reasons as I have to work the 2nd weekend of the season and want to got to the 1st game.

congratulations to the league's fixture computor !
What possesses the FA to punish L2 teams and their fans with midweek fixtures ( away ) @ Torquay, home and away fixtures against Exeter -the away fixture followed 4 days later with another long away game @ Morecambe - and then provide a long trip to Fleeetwood on Easter Sturday with another (non local derby) on Easter Monday with the visit of Rotherham.
I am sure the the fixtures could have been kinder for the travelling supporters - why couldn't the mid week games be confined to teams a little ( lot ) nearer -
There is scope - fixtures against Wycombe,(2) Dagenham,Barnet, Oxford, Aldershot & Wimbledon are all scheduled on a Saturday - all are a lot nearer to Gillingham.

Hope you are all well.

Just been going through the fixtures for the new season and trying to match Wimbledon's away days to your home days. Unfortunately the majority of our home games clash with your home games.

My first to Priestfield will be 20th October as Wimbledon are away to Fleetwood. I am also hoping to go to your away games at either Dagenham on 25th August (Wimbledon are away to Bradford) and Barnet on 8th September (Wimbledon are away to Northampton).

I will be working Boxing Day and 29th December, but thankfully I am not working New Years Day.

I am pleased that I am not working the day before my birthday (6th October) as Wimbledon are away to Plymouth. I noticed that you are away to Oxford on that day, so the perfect birthday present will be a win for the Dons and Gills and Danny on the scoresheet. I am thinking of going to Oxford game, depends on the money

As it is the start of a new season I am going to change the design of my Danny Kedwell badge.

I am still hoping to come down to Gillingham on Saturday week (30th), especially now that it won't be until October before I see a match at Priestfield, so hopefully I may see you then.

Take care and best wishes.

Regards

Bernie

I am happy with the opening fixture, should be an interesting one, I think Bradford will be stronger and hopefully we will be aswell.

I have not prepared any stats yet but looking at those August fixtures at a quick glance, bit of a tough start...

When did we last win away at Wycombe?
When did we last win away at Dag & Red?

all after the initial test at home to Bradford!

I can't remember us winning at Wycombe for a while or Dag & Red but we have done well against them at home, I don't think we should have any problem giving either of them a good game, we don't know what we are going to be like yet.

Oxon, do you want to meet for a pint at the Oxford game and anyone else who wishes to join the party! Im sure my wife will enjoy a spot of shopping while Im at the football!!
