Author of a good season on the side of Bordeaux, Yoan Gouffran have several keys in the Premier League. Aston Villa and Sunderland would be interested in the player.

At 26, Yoan Gouffran has just completed its most successful season in the top level. With thirteen goals in Ligue 1, the attacker Gironde was the main gunner training of Francis Gillot. According to L'Equipe , the player's performance would have won several English clubs. The daily Ile reported interest from Aston Villa and Sunderland. The French striker has only one year contract with the club Bordeaux and could be tempted by a challenge outside of the hexagon. Long considered a great hope of French football, the player trained at Caen is never reached its full potential.

    Funny one this lad.

Was rated to Gourcuff standard, never got there, lost pace, bizarrely, at 24.

He's a decent enough player, but i'd not be excited about it.

The reason he had his best goals output, was simply because they often used him as a striker, rather than his previous position on the right of midfield (where we have the far superior Seb).

Here's a better translation :p (I need the practice, I've got my French exam on Tuesday!)

At 26, Yoan Gouffran has just achieved his most successful season in the top flight. With 13 goals in Ligue 1, the forward had been the Francis Gillot's first-choice striker. According to "L'Equipe", his performances would have attracted a number of English clubs. The Quotidien Francilien noted interest from Aston Villa and Sunderland. The French striker has only a year left on his contract with Bordeaux, and could be tempted by a challenge outside of France.

Long considered as great promise by French football, the Caen-trained player has never been able to show his true potential.

He was decent again mate, i'd see it was his weakest performance to date, but he was still very good.

The Czechs were superb in spell second half.

TBH I keep hearing of us being linked with players I have never heard of playing in leagues I dont know with nothing more than a,"and Sunderland are", to back it up.
