i'm being serious here, if that was Andy Carroll scoring that goal last night, Liverpool fans would be w(a)nking over it.

Andy Carroll's goal was better. Welbeck didn't mean to shoot, he was attempting to control it. If he was shooting then you can tell he as been around Rooney - in off any part of your body apart from the bit you intended to use

The Walcott goal was fortunate too. Nine times out of ten, the keeper saves it. the shot was straight down the middle and, because he is unsighted, the keeper actually moves out the way of the shot!

Was Ashley Young supposed to be playing last night because I didn't see him do anything! Johnson was outstanding by any means but it was a lot better than most

I thought Johnson was the worst player on the pitch.. That said young wasn't far behind him. Johnson for me can't defend and gets caught out of position too often, he only gets away with it just because he has pace.. I think if Milner didn't pick up the runners we would have given more goals away..

Was gla Mandy bagged a goal and it wa a good goal great ball by gerrard. We could and should have had a couple more goals though gerrard should have buried his chance toward the end of the game..

Only question is now who starts the next game..

I hope jones gets a go in place of Johnson, as I think in jones we could trust him more not to rely on playing Milner who for all his endeavour doesn't offer much so we could have Walcott on the right.. Who will give us more of a threat going forward.. I'd start with young as he has been England's best player leading up to the tournament and with Rooney back he has a good understanding with him and welbeck who I also think should start. That means nothing against Carroll I just think welbeck is more versatile and offers more than just an aerial threat.

If young has a shocker then bring ox on an ideally if Walcott has scored or created goals then Milner comes on to shore things up..
