    On the basis of that article there should not be too much to be worried about then :grin:

    What make me chuckle a bit was - “All these good players, the likes of Chris Burke, Redmond, Jordan Mutch would never have made Birmingham City a great team but Chris Hughton could have made Birmingham great again.

    Again?     I do not recall the first time <laugh>

    I was also impressed with this article when I saw it. Gallagher's is a professional's assessment and obviously strongly felt. Another earlier article in the same paper reveals how much WBA wanted Hughton in May.

    Apparantly they didn't want to pay compensation to the Blues though. They may yet live to regret that decision. Let's hope so!

    The city of Birmingham ought to be able to produce at least one team capable of challenging for honours. But in reality, its all about investment particularly foreign investment. The Golds never really wanted Brum and Carson Yeung is a crook.
    If Bill Gates put his money into Wroxham, they would be in the Champions League eventually.

    He seems a top bloke, I like his honesty and how calms he appears to be. He has a lot of experience in the game and I'm sure he knows what he is doing. However, I'm not going to get too carried away until the season starts and I see what brand of football we play and whether he can get as much out of the players as we did last season.
