ward is the worst full back i've seen since gareth hall, surely ian harte would have been a better option for ireland, really hope this story is bollocks (it probably is anyway)

What we want and what we get could be 2 different things. The transfer budget is not infinitesimal.

I'm sure McGeady will also be on daft wages over in Russia. Aren't most of the bigger transfers on high wages? I'd guess £60,000. Surely that's too much for him?

As for Ward I wouldn't touch with a barge pole. Will we learn that buying the majority of our players from relegated teams just doesn't work?

Stephen Ward. There is no way O'Neill would be stupid enough to hand over cash for him. All just paper talk.

See nothing in McGeady that would want anyone to pay for his services, had a poor game in the first one and was about as much use as a chocolate fireguard last night. Will give him the next game but, for me I'd move on to better. Moses would be a sound purchase possibly Albrighton if he wants first team football, he goes elsewhere he'll be behind established players.

I would love Moses, but if Martinez stays I can see him staying for another season. Albrighton would be good, but TBH he does shout out flair for me.

Not sure I agree about the crossing. McGeady is good on his day but I think he is inconsistant. I guess we will know in a couple of weeks if he is coming or not.
