Just had a look at headlines in papers today guys, and apparently the bun suggests that MM has been handed £25m for transfers?

what do you mean blue, like £25m in fees / wages or just fees?

i cant see us spending more than £4m on a player and i dont want us to either. we came quite close last year without spending too much so lets do it again.......<ok>

I think Malky is more shrewed than that but I expect one or two "Big name" players to try to get most fans onside.

They get this figure from the £35m cash injection and our £12m a year operating loss. It would leave £23m on signatures/wages and all other staffing costs..

I think you will find the 35 million includes the 10 million offer to clear the langstone debt for ever, which leaves 25 million.
The 1 million a month loss will stop when we have cleared debts, you can't wipe off last years losses they are dead and gone. Just start right this year and keep in the red. Oops black nope blue, or was it white? maybe yellow with black bits.
well you know what I mean.
He has lowered the wge bill by taking people off it and so when he replaces it will go back to where it was an probably higher. you must remember the 25 million will be a loss to the accounts but balanced by the asset of the player

The only thing that should matter to Cardiff is the Malaysians are all in now . They will use money to protect there money already in . Never thought it would actually happen but the Malaysians finally put up & shut up

If they already had roughly £40m of loans in the club, of which would be non returnable *should* the club have gone under.. How in god's name were they not already committed? I swear I lose brain cells everytime I read any of your posts, and I need to stop because thanks to your devotion on this board, I haven't many left!

Ask them why they never put anything in the last 2 January's to help the Cardiff squad yo get over the hump in playoffs . And I would put to much weight behind the figures theycome out with ... better worry about your own cells Lol !!

I see you are taking full advantage of the freedom of speech on this board. You could face a ban on your own board for abusing others. ;)

knackeredjack, i think you will find if you go back through the archives that there was money available in January but there was no one available and willing to join the club that MM thought was worth the money, so he didn't spend it.

crackers posts come under the 'i understand there is a grey area whereby people who are obviously wumming try to dress up their posts as football related but we arent stupid and we see right through it.' category

but seriously, if the langston thing is costing us big time why didnt they sort it out years ago? **** spending big salaries on mercenaries like mccormack and bothroyd, get the club standing on its own two feet!....<ok>

SKM, I think the Langston issue is more to do with the agreed contract drawn up at the time by the chairman (Sam) and the Langston company (Sam). Obviously VT didn't much like the agreement when coming on board but would not just pay over funds in what he deems is a suspect arrangment. Sam still wants a return on his "loan" andmorally perhaps he has a case but if the the contract is not exactly what it seems then maybe only a fraction is payable.

Well just read that back and it's confused me big time. I think in a nutshell, Sam loaned Sam on terms and an apr close to quickquid.com!

I cant see us paying out more than 10m on transfer fees from this budget, but this is still a hell of a lot. 5 players av 2m each and i think we could be challenging this season.

Every time there is mention of money for Malky the little green monsters are all over our board.

    Worm on and casting.

Where have I wummed ? The Malaysians said that the Bluebirds would have to find investment from others also , when they told you lot that the reaction to the re branding changed things . I suspected at the time they were just trying to worry some fans to turn them against the angry ones about re branding . Now that you all walking together in red , it will be interesting if these " new Investors " that were going to be needed was a ploy . If you never here about other investors again , you'll know it was . Simple football talk , where's the wum . You guys are so about wumming , you'll hunt something down & give it the wumming name regardless .

    Swans fan in peace.

Now the dust is settling on the shirts/investment saga, have they paid the debts? I thought the debt was in the region of £40m, but one of your guys said it was more like £70m.

Given that Malky has been given £20m+ to spend, that works out about right, but have they paid the debts off yet?

Cardiffs main debts are to the Malaysians.

    Then Langstone - offer made.

Then PMG - debt reducing. Paid off by next year I believe.

Ray Ransons company - a appalling deal by Ridsdale - the agreement is its repaid from transfer fees.

Also people like Borley are owed.

They have paid off HMRC , Football clubs etc.

Apart from Ranson all Cardiffs debts are to shareholders. They all need the PL to get their money back
