    All i'm saying is that in any league Ronaldo is unplayable really, Messi could be dealt with if teams closed him down.

    I reckon ronaldos better.
    More skillful
    stronger
    better in the air
    harder worker


    Messis talent is his incredible balance that lets him walk past people, of course he's not half bad but i'd take ronaldo every time

    lol Aye I know what assists are Tash...As Jacky says though, why would your theory that Ronaldo has been involved in the build up of more goals than the table suggest not be applicable to Messi?

    Just been looking at a few more stats...Messi has played 1 few game than Ronaldo and Ronaldo has scored 4 hatricks to Messi's 2, this would imply that Messi is more consistent with his scoring!

    what are you basing this on? Messis deliveries are undoable, that aspect of play Ronaldo is dodgy in. Both seem pretty fast to me and while Ronaldo's freekick goals look impressive Messi's coount of goals from freekicks is pretty similar.

    Agree with that^

    I'll love Xavi. Ronaldo.. for obvious reasons, same with Messi. I like the looks of that Bojan lad though.. maybe worth a cheeky bid?

    Clearly gunna have to agree to disagree...Messi is talked about by pundits as having the potential to be the best ever and he's got 3 years on Ronaldo (he's younger than Danny Simpson and Guthrie and they're both still talked about as 'young players' - just to put it into context).

    Plus, Ronaldo's a **** whilst Messi genuinely looks like he loves playing football!
