I've seen all these reports linking us with Hatem Ben Arfa... I haven't seen enough of him to really say whether he would be a good signing or not. Seen a few of his goals (that one v bolton and the goal against everton a while back) and he looks a nippy and skillful winger. Would he be a good buy for us?

Btw well done on last season. A great effort and I'm sure you can mount a challenge for the champions league again. Looking forward to going to St James' Park next season as I missed out last time around...

He's a great talent but would probably benefit as a player from another season or two at Newcastle as a first choice player, getting games under his belt before earning a big money move away. I'm not sure you'd get the best out of him at Chelsea where he would be in and out of the side all the time.

I second that, he's also a player that needs a manager prepared to take a bit of time out for him. Not saying he has an ego or attitude problem, but still needs to have things pointed out to add to his game.
For example he is amazing going forward and turns defenders inside out, but never tracked back or attempted to win the ball back if he lost it.
But towards the end of the season it's something that started to come into his game, it could be he didn't want to go into meaty challenges after his leg break and needed assurances and patients to over come that fear. We don't know but Pardew used him as a sub and talked to him regularly which is something he seemed to need and is all the better for it.
I think that was the point he was trying to make in his recent comments should he have a move offer, it has to be an appealing big offer but also for the right manager as well

We'd let your cash rich owner have him for, say 150,000,000?

    He's better than Torres

Excellent player, the one negative about him he sometimes gets careless in possession and is dispossessed in dangerous positions.

He'd be a top top signing for you. However I can't see him fancying the move because he wouldn't be a leading light. Plus I don't think Chelsea will fancy paying Mike's extortionate prices given they've already spent a small fortune. Just highly unlikely and probably more designed to get them to be reasonable over Hulk

Listen pal my freind killed himself last week so where I am right now isn't a very pleasant place. Basically I'm going to be a kind of super hero from here on in. I'm going to kill people because I think someone needs to level thing up a little.

These arseholes lording it up are first and I'll be a kind of robin hood type killer.
