Good - I hated it when people posted this. See Neil Warnock's comments on such issues, only one party can possibly benefit from this and it isnt us.
I would of prefered them stay on, as Rush had a real passion for the club especially, but if we are successful and the coaches Bruce brings in are good coaches who improve us, i am all for it. Also can i ask why this is the Allams fault? The Allams didn't sack them cause they wanted to, they sacked them because Bruce wants his own staff. We can't just employ people for sentiment, if Bruce wants someone else for their roles he should get them.
Johnny Eyre? Linton? Next year's Cott High School prom? Some woman on Ebay who got the new kit on their before its official release?
So once again our staff are treated like ****, once again it's a sudden change of plan from one week to the next and again it's a complete contradicition to what we've been told (all that backroom staff here for the club, not the manager stuff). I don't care how much money the owners have, this is not how you run a football club.
What happens in this day and age has to be taken with a pinch of salt, people say things of the moment then next you know it's changed, Few years ago we had Brownie, Duffen both shaking hands with Bullard saying welcome to our club, next all gone
While it is sad, as has already pointed out, the staff for the club idea was never going to work and it is unlikely that Bruce would have joined if we were to force the current back room staff on him. A fact of football is managers like to surround themselves with their own people.
so once again our manager decides that the staff are not good enough and wants his own ? ... where is the problem in that .. apart from maybe your source has gone ?
One again it's that bollocks of 'they had the money so they can do what they want'. If you don't care what happens to our club that's fine, but please don't have a go at me for giving a ****. I never had a source, not one as important as these guys anyway, I think you're confusing me with someone else. The problem is the sudden change of plan that we aren't supposed to notice, the treatment of people like Sean Rush who has been here through 3 or 4 different managerial regimes and is very popular but now suddenly isn't good enough for us.
On the basis that Steve Bruce's transfer options are not as good as they would have been had he been in post a little swifter then he is going to have to get more out of existing players than Pearson or Nick Barmby did. I hope his Backroom staff bring something new.
It may or may not have been, but easier to stick with the new broom sweeps clean thinking. For some at least.
