Hi all Bristol City fan in peace

Just wanted to get some more info on this guy, clearly highly rated and supposed to be the next big thing. Have any of you seen him play, From what ive read from our paper he seems to be a very talented footballer with a lot of potential, and were in the need for someone with a bit of flair in our midfield, so any information on him would be brilliant, Cheers and good luck for the up coming season <ok>

He has a good footballing brain, thinks ahead, and looks at his options, he will grow into a top player. Not sure if I want him out on loan this year, I'd prefer Rodgers to cast his eye over him first. Maybe after pre-season you can have him.

Seems strange that he'd be loaned out before Rodgers has seen all the players. He's on holiday still isn't he? If there's a viable deal, good, he needs experience, but it's likely to come after our preseason tour, in which he probably could feature.

I'd imagine Roldolfo Borrell & Frank McParland are the ones brokering this deal (they might chuck in a recall clause if things get desperate). They are in charge of the reserves, youth & development after all

Suso is the man......has great vision, can play a defence splitting short pass or can play a great long ball. he can dribble and has great technical skill to beat a man.
Can score from inside and outside the box.....
Id have him in the Liverpool fist team right now, (even though he is not the finished article.)

in short, if you get him on loan for a season, you will absolutely love him...

I agree with most on here. Pre-season first so that he is around the first team and then a season long loan.

We will find out more about him by letting him play on loan.

I really like the look of Suso. Technically excellent and great range of passes. His only aspect that needs work is the physical aspect and so a loan deal may be just what he needs. Tipped him to fit into Rodgers style of footy and possibly get some first team minutes this year <ok> Definitely one of our brightest prospects IMO

He reminds me of a young David Silva. Very similar style of player, just not fully developed yet.

Seen him play a number of times, definitely going to be a big name player in a couple of years, if he keeps progressing like he has been.

thanks guys, from what you've said it makes me want him more, you may not know a lot about us but he is the type of player we have been crying out for, for about 3-4 years now, last season was terrible for us, and not to sound bias but we deserve to be challenging in the top 6, but next season is going to prove very difficult in the championship, so we really will need quality, and by the sounds of it this guy he fits the bill

    Cheers <ok>

If you guys sign him on loan, i may have to make a few trips to the gate next season to see how hes getting on. I watch Liverpool reserves when ever its televised on LFC.TV, and along with Raheem, this guy looks a class above most other players in the reserves league.

IMO not ready for the 1st team at LFC yet(Raheem Sterling is ), would defo be a good move for him to play in the champ next season, tecnically very gifted, good vision can shoot, a very spanish style footballer,as somoneone said an 18yo David Silva

Not seen a lot of him but his stength seems to be his vision and passing. Ideal in that position just behind the front man to thread little balls through.

Ideally would want him to go to a side that keep the ball on the floor and dominate possession where he can get hold of the ball and show what he can do. Not sure if Bristol City are that type of team (not seen an awful lot of them to be honest so happy to be corrected). Would love to see him down at Brighton (my local team) as they play a similar way to Rodgers' Swansea in they keep the ball and very rarely kick it long. Could also keep a closer eye on him as well then!

Bet it must be frustrating losing someone of the quality of Nicky Maynard to West Ham only for him to warm the bench there. Not being funny but I reckon he'll be out on loan sometime next season, so he should've just signed a new deal at Bristol really.

As for Suso, he should be a very good player in time, but there's no point relying on him at his age to be the focal point of your team throughout the season. He'll have his bad games, he'll make the wrong decisions on occasions and he'll drift in and out of games very frequently. He's not at the level where he can play attacking midfield for the team throughout the season and make things happen. Infact, Adorjan (another youth player) is closer to doing that than Suso but Suso is a more eye catching player really in that his passing range is a lot more impressive and he's a better dribbler.

this season we will be playing attractive football, it's just last season we didnt have the team to do it, theres 3 or 4 in there now who can but our manager will get it sorted with his first proper season, and he will bring in the right players....Hopefully

Nicky maynard did himself no favors here, and has now become hated, he treated the club terribly and our chairmen let him. in this final season he was terrible for us and everyone was glad to see the back of him
