It's the Chelsea effect. Even though he may not be the worst of the bunch, everyone else will see him like that because he plays for Chelsea. It's also the same for players, even though Drogba has been one of the greatest PL strikers ever, not many will see him like that, because he played for Chelsea. (I am over generalising here to make a point). I could go on with more points like that but I won't.

 

If he keeps his head down for a couple more years and the 'press' continue protecting him he'll be the next knight of Salford(as planned)

Right so if the whole incident was created by the media, tell me why the then Chelsea manager Claudio Ranieri said of Terry and other Chelsea players: 'They had no decency or respect'. Also why was he fined 2 weeks wages if the incident never happened?

 

In Lamps' biography it says it was blown out of proportion, they were pissed and having a laugh with each other about **** all to do with 9/11, some gimp took offence and of course because they're footballers it made a damn good story to print.

 

When the affair happened she had split up with Bridge about 3 months before so really it hasn't got an awful lot to do with him anyway, but that little fact often gets missed out, so in that respect it's not quite in the same league as having an affair with your brothers wife for years whilst they're still married!
