The time of the announcement seems dodgy. The guy is with his national team, why would something be revealed at this time?
Cant see why we would buy Giroud unless Van Persie is to be sold. Makes NO sense. (Podolski--Giroud--RVP would be pretty tatsy though as a forward line if we were to keep RVP) Still good to hear they are still after more signings. Surely Wenger would ideally be looking to sign the two he failed to sign last Summer. MVila and Goetze, If we capture one of those and keep RVP it would be a fantastic summer.
Oh dear. I really don't want us to sign him. Wenger will see him as an RvP replacement, not a backup. He's not good enough for the PL IMO, his touch is poor, link up play average etc.
Hill-Wood talking a lot of sh1t in his interview, if i was Van Persie i wouldn't be happy, what a prick. If you read his following comments then you see that it's nothing to get excited about, it is backed up with nothing, followed by more sh1t talk. The first comment says we will buy but fails to say when, it could be in 5, 10, 100 years time, which is of no use to us considered we finished nearly 20 points behind the leaders! The second comment is complete fantasy land, 3rd or 4th is the best we can hope for with our current squad. Lastly, to blame our rubbish start to only injuries and failing to mention our transfer saga is totally wrong. Now i'm starting to realise where the problem stems from in this current Arsenal administration, it's people like this!
what is that about? keeping support for Wenger? Appeasing Silent Stan? Telling RVP we WILL buy? - or even telling us fans he does do something in the club for his salary?
