    Joey Barton reckons he could walk into the England squad if it was not for is behavoural problems.

    Well given than my stats for this footballing season are the same as Stewart Downing's I am awaiting my call up. JB on the other hand will never play for England. Not good enough and is a liability. It shames me that I used to defend him

    The lad is a tool but some of the current England squad are shocking...I wouldn't put him in there myself but he's done more than Downing to warrant a place!

    Barton has done NOTHING! Quite where his ego comes from is beyond me! He came very close to getting QPR relegated! He is just embarrassing himself!

    According to my son, he also tweeted that every English footballer not there must feel disappointed when they see Henderson in the squad..

    love joeys view that liverpool players dont deserve to be playing for england after a disasterous season, well joey while it was the worst i can remember we still finished well above a QPR side for whom you hardly shone. Over-rated dick who really should keep off twitter if all he is going to do is spout this level of gibberish. Martin Kelly is no rio, but key thing is that RH can trust him to perform at a solid level and not do anything stupid on or off the pitch, the same reason no manager would ever pick a prick like JB

    Got to say I put an article up about this on the Newcastle board referring to him as deluded for his comment about walking into the England team, he had 1 good year at Newcastle and many of the Newcastle fans (self included) thought he bucked his ideas up, now he has made them all look like idiots.

    Aye - Did you know that Everton keeper Tim Howard has more goals last season than Stewart Downing!

    Downing is a joke of an inclusion in the squad - his stats say it all - 0 assists and 0 goals - OK so he's been "unlucky" and crashed a few shots off crossbar and post - but he still hasn't scored! it's a ****ing joke he's gone

    Joey Barton is just a disgrace to everything i love about football and if he got into the England squad i wouldnt be able to support the team, its bad enough having Terry in and Rio being not picked because of that.
    Why do we always do stupid stuff, every foreign coach and player cant understand not having Rio in the team and i cant either, i feel so sorry for him.
