Do the women get paid the same prize money as the men ? I can't believe how bad the standard of womens competition is
Well there's a few good male youngsters coming through too. Liam Broady and Oli Golding have been given wildcards for Queens next week, Broady got to the Wimbledon Juniors final last year and Golding won the Us Open Juniors last year. Obviously its a big step up to seniors, but who knows. Also Kyle Edmund who used to live in the village I live in (Tickton) before he moved away for training, think his family still lives here though. He also went to Bev Grammar my old school briefly. He just got knocked out at quarter finals of French, he's also got quite far in other junior majors. He's very well thought of by the LTA and it would be great if he could make the step up, he was Nadal's knock up partner at Wimbledon the other year.
Watching Sharapova v Errani in the final, the Italian shouts 'wahey' every time she hits the ball got to be the most annoying 'grunt' ever
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/tennis/18495586 Told you this lad may have the quality to step up! 1300 in the world beats a guy who's 102 in the world and was as high as 52 in the world last year.
That's an amazing win in someone's first ever match among the grown-ups! I've seen Gimeno play and he's no mug.
