A great positive thread with some equally enthusiastic contributions. Well done LLF.

A new and exciting era for Cardiff City starts right here and now.

    Hilts, I understand your feelings.

With regards to the red kit - it's not more marketable in the UK (or Europe) but it is in the Far East. That's the point of this exercise and, because we are not of Asian Heritage, it's the reason why we cannot altogether understand it.

I hear what you're saying but it would have the same effect as 75,000 people in Old Trafford wearing yellow and green. It will be seen as a protest and create negative energy towards the team. If they are in red then we need to be - it will show support and unity

A good and valid point Taffy, the decision has been made and team need to know we are behind them.

The change in shirts has less impct on the players than on the fans. They have little affinity with the shirt, play on different colours during the season and are likely to have played in different colours for other clubs. What they need is the full blooded support they've had in seasons past.

Would Blackburn have picked up a few more points at home if the fans hadn't been protesting.

Agree with the shirt post. The team are wearing it, so lets wear it and get behind them. We are CCFC, we are the bluebirds, we can get to the premier league this time I would say. With the red though, we are of welsh heritage, so surely it isnt that different a colour? just my opinion
