    1. Eric Djemba-Djemba - He's so good they named him twice but on a serious note, when we signed him, people were comparing him to Roy Keane which was unfair on him, considering him just arrived at the club, its a shame it never worked out for him, he now plays for Odense in Denmark.

    2. Massimo Taibi - Harsh i know, considering he only played 4 games for us, to be fair he was excellent on his debut against Liverpool at Anfield, we all know what happened after that, he let a Matt Le Tisser shot go through his legs, he might've lost his footing we don't know, the reason why he left us because he had personal problems in his life he said on a programme i watched on MUTV.

    3. David Bellion - Although he was on a free transfer, he had pace and goals in him but he struggled to settle in at the club and didn't breakthrough to the first team, eventually we sold him to Bordeaux after a loan spell at Nice.

    4. Gabriel Obertan - I must admit, i was intrigued by his signing, i hadn't heard much about him and i remember before the 09/10 season started, former Manchester United defender Laurent Blanc said he didn't have the mentality to succeed at Old Trafford and he was right, he was all pace and he couldn't cross neither, he plays at Newcastle, they paid £3 million pounds for him ( the same amount we paid for the former France under-21 international ).

    5. Mame Biram Diouf - he's got to be one of the worst signings our manager has done, he looked good in pre-season but when it came to the real thing, he couldn;t score to save his life, he went out on loan to Blackburn, same thing happened there, to be fair, he didn't start many games for them, he now plays for Hannover 96.

Don't agree with Obertan and Diouf, not because I think they were good signings, but they were bought for their potential and were supposed to be developed in the reserves which is always a risk. Veron should be on that list though, one of our worst signings IMO.

Kleberson, most of the names you've listed were bought based on potential but he was bought on merit and never really made any impact at United.

You lot have fairly got away with Bebe (probably because of our interesting transfer policy).

    Let me remind you!

When you look at bad signings I think it has to be taken into account how much we paid for them, and how much we sold them on for.*

Veron was a poor signing, but atleast we managed to get 18 million for him from Chelsea.*

Berbatov has to be the worst, as we paid 30 million for him and he never really became a first team regular for us. I know he had his runs in the team, and did have 1 decent season, but when the big games came Fergie always left him on the bench.*

For what it's worth I do actually like Berbatov as a player, I just don't think he fit into the way we play. He needs to be in a team were he is the star player, like at Spurs.

Listing players like Bellion and Obertan is pointless as we didnt lose any money on those players:biggrin:*

That video is hilarious, there was no aim to those crosses, he was simply smashing it <laugh>

But who knows! Bebe may become a star striker in the future

He's the worst winger I've seen in a long time, and remember I've seen the likes of El Zhar in a Liverpool shirt.

You'd expect a semi professional from League 2 to whip the ball in better than that. He tries the Ronaldo style driven ball every time, failing every time - but doesn't try anything else! Pretty sure the other United players all have a 'for **** sake' look as the ball flies over them.

Surely Kleberson must be up there? I remember thinking it was a slam dunk signing. You can't blame Fergie for his failure, he was successful with Brazil and at his club, there was no way of predicting his failure in transition. Such a shame seeing as I thought he could be a great player for us.

Simply because it was pointless in every single aspect.

Everyone else you mentioned completed at least 1 pass.

Whoever said Berbatov...........top scorer the season before last suggests that he was a relative success.

Funny how his goal isn't included in that clip.

2 goals in 7 appearances. Hardly the worst record ever.
