    Of course when Stan Seymour was transferred to Newcastle United for a fee of £2,500 in 1920 I thought he was the bee's knees. When Hughie came he was an improvement on SS and that's when he decided to open a Sports shop in Toon.

    I admire your loyalty to Stan Seymour AB because there's not many Toon fans over 120 years of age still have the first shirt they ever bought. I thought it was a retro shirt when we had a pint at Spurs a couple of seasons ago, then I saw the 'Seymour sports' price tag with 3s & 6p hanging off the collar.

    I was going to mention it but it's a bit like kneeling down at church and the lady in front of you still has the price of her shoes on the sole, you want to say something but don't want to embarrass them.
