Hull press conference to introduce Brucie. Many may disagree but from me its good luck Stevie, good to see you back.
Its good luck from me as well. I hope he gets them back up to the premier league as we need some closer away games.
He's spoken out one too many times for me to wish him luck. He can go and **** himself as far as I'm concerned. No class.
I've never understood this. Sunderland fans get upset when Bruce complains about the derogatory chants against him towards the end - these happened. he's not making it up. Sure, they were because of his bad management, but he's hardly going to come out and say that is he.
Its a good opportunity for him to restore his damaged reputation. It must boil his piss seeing Lambert and Rogers land top jobs off the back of only one good year in top flight management. I dont think they've got the players or money to go up automatic but I reckon he'll have them sniffing around the play offs. In a way its an ideal job for him.
That's a good shout kidda. He said these players were all good ones, so let's see how many if comes in for. Even on loan.
Don't get your hopes up, the club won't let the Press Conference go live so it will not be on sky at 3pm maybe later though
If I was paid about 2 million a year and was then sacked i'd act with class. As it stands I am about a hundred times less classy than that.
Don't let irony get in the way of a vendetta against someone who was offended by offensive remarks Syd
a few things disco, 1. His complaints from what I have seen are not about him being sacked but about the abuse he recieved from a small minority of his fans, I agree with him. 2. Class is about saying or writing things without the need for needless abuse. But thats just my opinion, no more, no less.
I agree mate. He was unfairly abused but it was by a minute few. He made out he was terrorised and couldn't even go into his local pub for the abuse. His son gave us abuse on his behalf so i will give it back. Class to me is owning up, accepting you weren't good enough instead of blaming fans, a lack of time and bad luck.
I'd also point out I'm not slaying him for being overweight or a geordie because i couldnt care less. He just wasn't up to it as a manager.
His brand of football, pathetic home form, results and hapless excuse making were far more offensive to those who were sick of him than calling him a fat geordie twat. Also, he's a ****ing liar. His local boozer is slap bang in the middle of barcodeland not Sunderland so none of us gave him grief. Maybe a few craas did but not us.
Yes, but we also won only 3 (I think) home league games in the calendar year of 2012 under his management, and were pretty much destined for a relegation battle last season if we'd kept him in charge.
