    Ok IMO:

No we wont make the wrong appointment.

Dont think that we will lose key players. but if we do we will have made the right appointment to get better one in. I think our players are good but are awesome in our team!

the players I worry losing are Ash and JA!

we do need to sort our defence this season! we were lucky last season if any one of the backs had a serious injury then we would have been fu**ed. eg.. we played Garry with a injury (he done amazing by the way!)

I thought that just after I posted the comment. Very true indeed. But history shows us that recently promoted teams are more likely to fail than prosper. So the odds are realistic. If you think they're not, offer some better odds on betfair and you'll get lots of takers.

I think the idea is to base your decision on how things stand now. You will never know the answer until the season is over, because it also depends on players being injured, etc. But you must have some idea of who the relegation candidates are. I'd go for...

    WBA
    Southampton
    Norwich

I have to ask do you work for Betfair as this is not the first time you have suggested someone post better odds and get takers lol

    Reading
    West Brom
    Wigan

Mcdermott is a great manager, just think they will have more problems against the big teams compared with Soton and West ham

Wigan - how many more lives have they got?? Think this will it for them thisseason.

Villa - Last season showed how much they have fallen off the pace and I don't think Lambert is the man to save them, should jave stayed at Norwich

West Ham - I hope they get relegated if the maintain their hoofball anti football tactics

the way we are situated at the moment then we must be one of the favorites for relegation...no new players,no manager...i would say that we are in a weaker position now than we have ever been....

At this precise moment in time, Dai, you are quite right but that will change before too long.

Its a bit early to say we could go down lads,If we sign this Laudrup as manager we could finish in top 6, as someone said we were only 11pts from bottom also we could have been in top 8 with 9 pts more. Id say we will finish in top 8 if we play the same way we did this seasion also we could get siggi back to play for us its a long shot lads. also lads Im going for wales to beat the aussies on sat. s t i d

Ever? Really? I think you have forgotten the past if you think this is our weakest position ever. Most clubs in the UK would love to be in such a position of weakness. Not having a manager for a couple of weeks doesn't transform a great team/club into a basket case. You are way too pessimistic. Plenty of time before the season starts.

No new players, but none have left either, apart from the loan players. New players are already being sorted out. It takes time. This isn't fantasy football where we can pop down to Tesco and get all our players sorted for next season. LOL.

    why did you quote me?

I think we will be stronger because we will fool other teams next season, if we played the same as we did last season we will be sussed out, but now new manager, a few tweaks and bobs ur uncle! Europa league!

This is under the assumption that we will have a good manager!

and using the same logic you have tipped Norwich to go down? You think Hughton is no good, or another reason?
