Trouble is I always find when you leave the ground with a song ringing in your ears it
stays with you all night. Drives my family around the bend as I keep breaking into song.

Not a lot of love for yellows, but one of the best things a saints crowd has done was during the trophy lifting by Arsenal in 2003. All you could hear in the background was "yellows, yellows". Felt really proud to be a supporter at that moment.
Bret Ormerod song always got a chuckle. Don't sing the Southampton boys song as its too cringe

Loved "Ei Ei Ei o Up the football league we go," was fantastic singing that at Millwall after coming back from 2-1 down. Rickie Lambert Southampton goal machine is also great.

Just thought though the Lambert song will have to change "He'll take us to the premier league - Rickie, Rickie".....

"Cried with laughter" I'm sorry if I don't think much of your sense of humour. Bit like borrowing your fathers gun and shooting all the Pompey fans. Not clever and not funny.

There has been loads. Ronnie! Ronnie Ekelund! not really a song more of a chant but liked it.
Matt Le Tiss, Marion Pahars, Jesus is our Right Back. Do like Yellows as Saintlyhero says because of the cup final.

Not a fan of "were coming for you" or "by far the greatest team" when we were in league one.

Before my time but "Tommy Jenkins on the wing" and "Give it to Ron, Give it to Ron, On his ed on his ed" are good.

Do love the Adam Lallana messi song, but when some sections of the ground start waving their arms to each side for that specific part of the song, I feel a bit cringey.

Favourite football chant of all time is another question as well, personally YNWA and as much as I hate to say it play up p*mpey when sung by 'all' their fans is one of the best.

Hate all the anti-Pompey ones, bar "If I had the wings of a sparrow". They're used far too often and because of this make us seem like obsessives that exist purely to hate Portsmouth :\

    Hate the Cortese one.
Hate the "Where were you when we were ****" one.
Hate the "**** 'em up" one.

    Like the Rickie Lambert one.
Like that "Oh when the Saints" one.
Love that new Jay Rodriguez one.

The Tom Jenkins one was actually, "Gerry, Tom and Gerry, Tom and Gerry on the wings", Gerry being Gerry O'Brien.

AND, BIG NEWS "Give it to Ron" etc was made up by me and may mate Dale. I had the first line, he the second.

Ahh **** that then, we can come up with something better. We are the fans that conceived one of the greatest player-related songs of all time - RLSGM.

That we stole from Liverpool....<whistle> To be perfectly honest, we're **** at making songs up, we need a proper anthem as well.
