That backroom staff includes 2 managers who have been employed as manager in last two years. That's pretty good!

    Inspiring?

i suppose our two clubs have always had very different opinions on what constitutes a spectacular achievement.

Interesting that Bowkett said they had a shortlist of 5 and Chris Hughton topped that list. The others evidently were a German, two Italians and a Scot ! You can't help wondering who the others were ? However, the main thing is we got our No.1 target !

Got a feeling one of the Italians may have been Di Canio, German the guy Schalke are getting?

Scot I have no idea, Owen Coyle?

thats true, being able to pay the interest on your debt or filling the stadium beyond 75% would be a spectacular achievement for you.

i've not bothered reading all the mindless gibberish from the 'ipswich pair' but then i didn't need to in order to find out what they are trying to get at. anyway, i think i can clear this up quite easily to be honest:

roy keane managed his teams with aggressive staring...

chris hughton managed his teams with quality coaching <ok>

Also, at the end of the day, he's OUR manager and we don't give a toss what you think of him! We love him!

Jesus these Ipswich fans are so sad - **** off to your own board and let us discuss Premier League football.

Anyway, what a conference! Hughton just oozes class and professionalism and I'm delighted. Now lets sit back and enjoy the summer in his capable hands and enjoy another successful season.

Ipswich good luck avoiding relegation to League 1.

    bit of history repeating <laugh>

Big it up budgies just like you did with Lambert and Holt, that turned out well.

It is what it is, a decent but rookie manager with a massive task on his hands to keep you up <ok>

what on earth are you trying to say? i think you may well be deranged. how did it turn out anything other than astonishingly good? rookie manager? and how is it a massive task? by no means easy but massive?? maybe you should read what you're typing before you press the 'post' button because you looking like a pillock is becoming a regular theme on these boards and i'm beginning to feel embarrassed for you! <ok>

I think it may be a part of mass friction behind the scenes with Villa, we may be effectively holding them ransom

<laugh> that's the impression i get too! gardening leave do you think? it'll certainly **** lambert up if he hasn't got them - they are absolutely vital to him. but if villa won't pay the ransom... <laugh>

I'm sure it'll all be fine. McNally's a reasonable man, as long as they've not done anything to wind him up... Oh.

oh come on Supers, Lambert has buggered off, Holt doesn't want to play for you (although he probably will stay because its hard to see which Premier League clubs would fork out for him) and the probability is that with no money for players and with the first season syndrome warn off he does have to perform miracles. A great goalkeeper alone won't be enough to keep you in the division this time.
