So Chris Hughton is going to Norwich and now it looks like Steve Clarke is getting the West Brom job. Big Sam on his way back with West Ham too. Who will be next? If Lee Clark could get himself the Swansea job (unlikely I know) they'd be everywhere!

Are there any other ex managers/players you think could do a role in the Prem?

Would that make a "right pair of ****s" given Terry is already there?

On the subject matter, Lee Clark should be making his way to the PL soon. The chairman at Huddersfield is a right old John Terry for the way he treated Clarkie. Keegan could make a comeback.............again. Pleased for Hughton and Steve Clark. **** Big Sam though. Not because I hate him for his time here, he was just a bad appointment. its more I don't want to watch his percentage direct football or listen to his cringey interviews. Particularly when he is pissing up his own back about Real or Inter.

The only thing about Lee Clarke is the fact he KEPT missing out, and apparently made a lot of 'wtf' tactical decisions...Speak to Huddersfield fans and he's very love him or hate him!

Lee Clark certainly deserves to be in football management. His record with Huddersfield was immense and I still cannot see any sense in his dismissal. If he doesn't find work soon I would hope that someone from NUFC would be giving him a call to see if there was a job he could do for us at some level. I've been very impressed with the work he has done since stepping up to coaching/management.

I'm sure I read somewhere he'd been coming to Little Benton a bit to help out and gain experience?

Clarkie always played with his heart, and his heart is in Geordieland. He'd be great at any job he was given for us.

I hope he doesn't need a job off us cos he deserves a management position of his own, but like you said it would be our gain if he ended up doing a job here

I'm sure Clarkie will be fine.

JWAG - I suppose that just tells how fickle the modern fan is. 3 defeats in 55 games I think it was. Their fans can dress up how they like, his treatment was ****e. When he left they were 3 points off the automatic promotion spot. They finished some 12 points off it by the end of the season.

To be fair there is a Huddersfield fan I work with and he claims there was a bit more to it than the chairman let on. His claims that he couldn't risk not going up was all a smokescreen because they were no longer getting on. He claims this was because Clarkie did nothing to dampen down speculation regarding his future and the links with other clubs.

I heard Clark had a major disagreement with the chairman when he corrected him on the unbeteaten run. Something like:

Chairman (to board): We're in a really good financial position, and we're doing great in the league with a 40 match unbeaten run

Clarkie: 15 match, actually. We lost to Peterborough in the play-off final, the most important match of the season.

    Chairman: Humph.

(2 weeks later, he gets fired...)
