Yes, it was all a jolly good adventure, don't ya know. A grueling six week voyage via the Med, the Suez Canal and travelling across India in a train culminating in a brutal fight with the Japanese in the Burmese jungle. It was a gas.
well said medro -------------------------------- ive seen a film shot on the day my god loads of soldiers jumping out of ships the germans where just shooting at them what i cant understand why didnt the raf knock out the german sniper nest before the landings would have saved so many lives if the bombs had got the buggers
War is ****. I've seen the American war dead buried at Maddenly Cemetery in Cambridgeshire, that was more than enough
