Best For Celtic

Leon Best may be in line for a transfer to Celtic. May just be usual quiet day transfer news, but if true, how much do you think he's worth bearing in mind we paid 1.5 mil for him ? Which players would replace him as 3rd/4th back up?

 

Reckon we'd get about £2.5m to £3m for him.

That said, I'd like to keep him. He's a very useful player to have around and he could be our Andy Johnson figure in the Europa.

 

We will need him this coming season as our our fixture pile-up will get on the daft side.

Having released 11 players, we simply cannot let anymore bodies out of the door without replacements.

 

Best is a bit underated and I'd like to think we'd keep him. He can do a good job and doesn't mind putting himself about a bit.

 

Very under-rated player. Give them Shola instead...

 

You'd probably be lucky to get 2m. For that sort of money I'd rather keep him. He is no where near the first choice 11 but I think he's decent enough. Was never convinced in the past but I thought he did well last season. Good option to have in reserve.

 

Totally under-rated. Unless they are offering £5m + (unlikely), I'd be inclined to keep hold of him.

 

One of those players you keep hold of when you've got them, but never go to the trouble of signing. Kinda like Willo in that respect, except better.

 

He's good backup but if he went to Celtic he'd be comfortably their best player.

He's got the choice between getting about a dozen games and maybe a couple European matches with us or being a starter getting about 30 goals and leading a European charge with Celtic.

I wouldn't blame him for wanting to leave.
