Just torn my ligament playing football! And I have three flights of stairs to go up and down at work on crutches, that's going to be fun!

You must be able to work on the ground floor??

If there is a fire you're ****ed.

Run it by your Health & Safety rep

Could always do it the way you used to when you were a kid and bump yourself up and down I suppose.

Quick, get burnt in a fire before the new Libel regulations come in. Otherwise it's the end of No Win No Fee claims...

Hope you're alright mate. I snapped my ACL ages ago and have had nothing but trouble with it. Due to have my second operation next week and it's been a right ball ache not playing footy for 7 months.

Hopefully these lot haven't jinxed you about a fire at work!

And I thought I had it bad moving furniture earlier. I some how managed to smash myself in the bollocks with a 28" TV. Can't you get a bit of sick leave?

Are you going to entertain us with a heroic story of how it happened???

Mate of mine once broke his leg after falling down a ski slope. That didn't break it, but he stood up and tripped over a stray rabbit that had chewed it's way through the safety netting...

    Is your story so comical/saddening?

So long as you don't have to show the boss evidence...

There's no escalator, quite an old building, and I don't like taking sick leave. I'd feel really bad. I can put a bit of pressure on my ankle, so hopefully won't be too bad. Just going to have to have people running around for me :)

Sadly not comical, no. Just went over it playing indoor football and heard a crack and then carried on playing for an hour...probably not the wisest of moves!

His boss is a gorgeous 26 year old buxom blonde. There'd be no trouble showing her the evidence and letting her check it for herself.

Unfortunately, the only way back up was on the ski lift...
