One or two of you mentioned the Groundhogs! Just to let you know they are playing Fibbers in York this Friday night (8th June). With Tony McPhee on lead guitar this has all the makings of a great night and to hear 'Split' live again. It's the carers and a sitter in this Friday in Joe's house. One not to be missed http://www.ents24.com/web/event/Ton...7878.html?referer=newsletter&utm_medium=email

And as for the last song, it speaks for itself. George Harrison was defo the underrated Beatle. And Roy had such an amazing voice.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtVPJVxqcS8 I was intorduced to this group and particularly this song when I went back to the UK last year. Class. Though 4 years old now.
Former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Bob Welch has been found shot dead at his home in an apparent suicide. Police said Welch's body was found by his wife with a single gunshot wound to the chest, and he had left a suicide note. The 66-year-old suffered from health problems, but police did not disclose what those issues were. "The police are investigating it as a suicide, and there was no evidence of foul play," Nashville police spokesman Don Aaron said.
Me - I am my favouorite singer - Playing in Shildon tomorrow and Sunday night! You will see my name Marcus Black in various pubs and clubs around the area!! Zeppelin & T Rex are my favourites - was named after Bolan (Real name is Marc) and ended up as a guitarist and singer - wonder if that'll work if I have any more kids?? If so then they'll have to be called John Bonham and Jimmy Page!
