My gut feeling is that Bruce won't come here and is holding out for something else that he deems 'better' and why would we want a manager who has us as his last choice anyway. Gut feeling like I say, maybe the truth is he really want to come here and is battering down the Allams doors. Who knows? We will end up with the runt Davies, am in the process of brainwashing myself into liking him right now in preparation

Whoever the new manager will be - we have to keep the last four days out of the picture - from a Business point of view, tomorrow at 9am carries on from last Friday at 5pm. No one was expecting any managerial appointment over the weekend. So anyone, Bruce or Davies, not signing, isn't evidence of holding out. If we don't have a manager by the end of tomorrow, then that's a different matter.

I have to admit, Oddschanger on twitter is the one that has my interest. Their website seems professional enough - they seem genuine, and they have been championing Bruce to us for ages. Going to far as saying it's a done deal. Maybe they're just trying to stir up business, but considering hardly any bookies are taking bets since they closed them on Bruce last week, it seems unlikely. Also, they are actively putting down the links of Bruce to Norwich. I first started paying attention when they were linking Bruce to us when his odds were drifting a lot before he came back as the strong favourite.

I'm not an experienced gambler - but the Bookies' behaviour with regards the City job makes me think they know something with regards Bruce.

But how would they know something, if nothing has leaked from the club and his agent is denying any contact then where would they get info from.

He just comes across as a horrid little man, agreed his records OK. We are scratching around really aren't we, I was expecting the cream of Europes managerial talent was going to be announced going on what the owners said, not Bruce or Davies

Good question... Maybe Bruce, maybe the Allams, god knows.

All I know is when I was watching before Bruce became favourite, Bruce's odds were drifting - it was being claimed he was out - but this account was only one saying he was still the favourite - the following day, all of the other sources were agreeing.

Whatever the case - most bookies at the moment still don't think it's worth people putting a bet on.

why what did the owners say to make you think europes elite were in the running to manage us?

all i read is that they were broadening the search to europe and not just domestically in the search for a manager, sensible thing to do imo.

why do "fans" feel the need to put a negative slant on everything the allams say or do ? bit sad really not exactly supporting the club is it

Where did I say the elite? You put your own slant on what I said. They stated they were leaving no stone unturned Europe-wise, sorry but this just seems like a bullshit statement. Lets not start this whole the Allams are great/not great debate we have our opinions. My opinion is Davies is a horrible little man but I will learn to deal with that and might even learn to love him if he ends up with us.

For anyone on twitter Mike White is on the money with his last few tweets. Steve Bruce has agreed verbally to take over and the guy I know is saying that the Allams are 100% confident it will happen.

Agree, Bruce would be a far greater statement of intent - push for promotion.

A lad I know claims to have some 'inside info' and is saying We are getting Bruce and if that falls through then it's Brownie. However I can't see Brown here so im taking what was said with a pinch of salt. Would love Davies as manager, even if he is a bit of a ****. His record at this level is good and he plays attacking football, what more do people want realistically?

True enough. I don't like Davies and you could fire stats at me from a rocket launcher and I couldn't care less!

Well it doesn't look like Norwich want Bruce...so if he's hanging on for that one...

However, if Hughton goes then the Brum job will be open. Perhaps Bruce would go for that rather than us?

If anyone is saying Brownie, in any situation, they are talking bollox.

He announced his desire to come back early in the process. I suspect he was told "not on your life" because he them came out in the press and criticised the owners, thereby indicating he'd been told to fcuk off.
