As requested by Lady Eleanor, and back by popular demand.... here is the Euro 2012 Poll.
I'll do a similar golden boot one on another thread and also set to the official Euro 2012 Thread shortly where we can begin the tournament banter and comment on the matches as they happen...

So... to kick things off... who do you think will win Euro 2012?

    I'm going for Holland....

So you are aware.. the maximum options available were 15 and there are 16 teams so I've dropped the longest odds nation (Greece).
If you feel they may win please say so in your post and we can take it in isolation.

I've gone for Italy just cos of how much crap they are going through at the minute. Warped logic but the Euros have a history of the no-hopers coming through and winning.

Greece. Have previous experience of winning things in recent memory, unlike Holland, Portugal, England.....

They have shown they can compete at international level, are solid defensively and can nick goals from set pieces. Very unfair of you to not include them in the poll at the expense of countries like Spain and Germany who are never going to win the thing.

I'd go for Germany but since people have already picked them, I'll go for Croatia to cause an upset.

I can't really see past Spain, but fancy Holland if their prima donnas can avoid spitting their dummies out.

The semis will be France, Germany, Spain and Holland. The winner could be any of those. So I voted Ukraine, cos I have a Ukranian mate who bet me a tenner they would do worse than England...

Germany. And I'm skint so could do with the money I will collect if they do the business. No value in backing them now though, 3/1 is stingy.

Hopefully they'll be heading home early, for England and Newcastles sake! I do think if Blanc can galvanise them they will be a threat, he's a very good manager. Have been pretty poor over the last year performance wise but they are unbeaten in a while. They were very lucky to not end up in the play offs to be honest. Bosnia and H should have dumped them out in the group stages but couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo that night. I suspect they may lack a bit of experience through their spine to finish the job but I suspect they'll have too much for England in the opener.
