you have given one of the brightiest football managers in the prem a 3 year contract.Do you think he is going to turn liverpool football club into a champions league team in 3 years? Do you think the top 5 are going to malfunction in the next 3 years? well i certainly dont.why o why didnt you give brendan a 6 year contract? is it cos after 2 years that it is not going to plan you dont have to give him such a big pay off? come on fsg give the guy a chance and let him build for the future cos 3 years aint long enough.

    in brendon rodgers we trust

    Hey Crazy Horse

Was just thinking about you today, no not in that sort of way

No, I was just thinking we're due a post from you pretty shortly and hey presto here you are!

Not to sound negative but maybe they're tired of paying out to get rid of managers that don't deliver.

Maybe they think it's a big enough gamble as it is and want to minimise the risk.

  3. If your a big club, I think all managers should be recruited and maybe kept on a one or two year contract. Keep them on their toes. Smaller clubs would be crazy to do it though, leaves them open to poachers and no compensation.

  6. Stuart Pearce refused to sign a contract when he was at Man City, he remained on a rolling deal. He said he didn't think it was right that he or the club should be tied down in an agreement. I appreciate that sort of honesty in a professional man, worked against in the end though <ok>

What a lot of people are forgetting is that we have been playing this style of football for about 5 years, brendan although a good manager did not have to tinker much with the team, martinez and then sousa did a lot to get us in the premiership, brendan has rightly been praised but to be honest with you it was set up for him, will we stay up next season without a doubt, brendan has moved on but the board at swansea have a very good track record in recruiting the right man for the top job, and when we have lost a manager the man coming in has always improved the club and the next season we have improved our position, next season i see us top ten,
