A poor performance today, didn't seem to even get going until we were 3-0 down.

Every player seemed to play under the level they have been playing the last few games, Ebanks and Fletcher looked a little rusty also, i guess a side effect of only getting 10-30 minutes some games means when thrown in for the full 90, you struggle a little.

We did create a few chances though so not all bad news.

Man of Match for me was Barton who did what o'Hara had been doing for us the last few matches but failed to do today.

Overall a deserved win for Newcastle.

I believe it was a deserved win for NUFC, however 4-1 flattered us greatly. I will take it obviously as the same happened 2 weeks ago at Stoke.

Its a huge win for us, but looking at your run in, I believe you will also be safe.

4-1 was a bit harsh, but did expect u did give us a closer game. Crucial game next week against Everton.

We let Wolves back into it at 3-0 and had Fletcher scored to make it 3-2, it could have been different.

I honestly think Wolves will be OK. Got a decent run-in and form prior to Saturday was impressive.

Best of luck for the rest of the season. Looking at your remaining fixtures, you have every chance of escaping, as most matches are against relegation rivals. So every win for you is a double loss for your opponents.

Last match, at home to Blackburn. Send them down. They won't be missed.

we do have other options up front who arent Doyle, but the formation we tried to play simply didnt suit them. we could have played far better if we had played 442 the whole time.
