I can't see how loaning Elmo represent a good deal for us. Mon clearly doesn't rate him so what benefit is it to us to loan him to another Premier League club? Especially when you consider the fact that two promoted teams finished above us last year. Are we really in a position to be doing this? If hes not wanted sell him and put the cash toward buying new players. Im all for sending young players out on loan to develop their game i.e Wickham but we should be selling Elmo if he's not in the managers plans. With two years left on his deal we are in a better position than when his probable loan deal will end and he returns he entering the last year of his contract.
If we did lend him out to a premier league club they couldn't play him against us and that will make them considerably weaker. Good plan I think.
Totally agree. Buy him or **** off fatso! We could use the money off him to buy a box of tea bags, or some bacon.
Smart price teabags at that. Wtfck does anyone want him for anyway? I'm puzzled as to how he got a job as a footballer in the first place with no ability at all. Any random bloke out of the crowd would do better, at least a random supporter would run his heart out elmo doesnt even do that, runs, (well jogs slowly towards full back then turns round). People used to laugh when I said our tactics under Bruce were long diagonal ball from gk to elmo to head in no particular direction. Some even said give bruce time as if this one tactic would eventually pay off after 2 years.
I would rather have cash in the pot and him off the wage bill. Maybe we can convince Fat Sam he's the Egyptian Beckham, somebody managed to convince Bruce he was so surely we can do the same to Fat Sam as he isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.
Although if they offered me the mags job i would take it make them **** on purpose and take £3 million in compensation.
Why are you trying to get of him, hs freakin amazing!! Together with the count you've got a great chance to make the top 4 next season!
We'd have to either negotiate a severance package or pay him two years wages. Anyone with any sense wouldnt accept a penny less
