I know it's only a few days into the transfer window, but even if it was in early August and approaching next season, and we'd signed a few quality players and a few unknown players or w/e, I'd still not know how to feel.

    I'm excited but also nervous.

For the first time ever, I've got no real expectations of our team. I really don't know where we'll finish next season or how we'll do

I have trust in the scouts and manager, but that's the trill of Newcastle United.

I really don't know what to expect.

No matter what i hear are our next season fixtures for next season, no matter who we play first, I'll start the season feeling excited and anxious.

Even if we face a mid table table, without much momentum or quality, I will approach the game feeling.... I don't know... just feeling a mixture of emotions.

    What do you guys think?

Hard to tell at this stage but as for targets next season personally I'd be happy with a Top10 finish and a good showing in Europe along with a run in one of the cups.

That said, if we sign Hulk, Bale and Vidic tomorrow I may adjust that..

Excited. I'm pretty confident a mass exodus won't materialise and we'll continue steady progress. Top 6, a decent cup run and a few spirited showings in Europe will do.

I think I'm hoping for a good European run more than anything (obviously not to result in a really **** league position). European nights have always been special and we've got a decent record for the times we've qualified.

It depends not only on who we sign, but who other teams sign. If Spurs and Liverpool spend big on some decent players this time, then I'll fell a bit deflated, like the one time we have a good season, everyone else goes and rubs our noses in the fact they can spend massively and we can't.

Then again, if we can keep hold of our players, and bring in some quality, I see no reason we can't be challenging for top four. Top 6 at least.

Like cbra says to far away to start thinking about it, wouldn't worry yourself till after the euros Tash, but top 8 league finish and a run in Europe would be nice, not to fussed about the cups as i have a feeling we will used them to blood the youngsters this year.
